Lately I've been thinking about how much fun it would be to just own my own store, be my own boss, do exactly what I love all day. (though, honestly, this would probably only be fun if the store actually made good money) Anyway, this leaves me pondering what kind of store I would own. So here is what I have decided that I would sell at my store:
1. Plants. Many fun and beautiful varieties.
2. Bakery. Many tasty treats baked by moi.
3. Purses/bags. All specially crafted by myself. And probably some knitted goods as well. And possibly some quilts, clothing items, etc.
4. Picture frames. We all know how much I love frames!
5. Books.

more song shuffling
An iPod-related magic-eightball kinda meme that I stole from somebody’s blog. Put your music player on shuffle. Press forward for each question. Use the song title as the answer to the question even if it doesn’t make sense.
How am I feeling today? "She's a Wild One" Faith Hill
Will I get far in life? "He's so Fine" The Chiffons
How do my friends see me? "Bubbles in my Beer" Willie Nelson
Fabulous! It better be a quality beer!
Where will I get married? "A Last Illusion" Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Sad sad sad
What is my best friend? "Bad Things" Jace Everett
That doesn't sound good. . .
What is the story of my life? "What Was I Thinkin' " Dierks Bently
Sometimes I wonder
What was high school like? "Where is my Hairbrush" Veggie Tales
I am somewhat ashamed to admit that this is even in my music collection.
How can I get ahead in life? "You Inspire Me" Warren Barfield
What is the best thing about me? "Driver 8" REM
What is today going to be like? "Get It Faster" Jimmy Eat World
What is in store for this weekend? "If it's the Last Thing I Do" Montgomery Gentry
Sounds like it will be an exciting weekend. That or very stressful :(
What song describes my parents? "TV Movie" Bruce Springsteen
My parents are nothing like a tv movie. Not even close.
To describe my grandparents? "Maybe" Alison Krauss
How is my life going? "Make You Feel My Love" Bob Dylan
I feel like "Hurricane" might be a more appropriate Dylan song.
What song will they play at my funeral? "Better Life" Three Doors Down
How does the world see me? "Jenny" Cross Canadian Ragweed
Too bad the world doesn't even know my name!
Will I have a happy life? "Jungle Love" Steve Miller Band
I suppose jungle love doesn't sound like a bad life.
What do my friends really think of me? "Things Ain't Like They Used to Be" UB40
Do people secretly lust after me? "Without You" Motley Crue
How can I make myself happy? "Bald Headed Woman" The Who
Too bad my Mom wouldn't let me shave my head as a child. Though I fear that the flat spot would make me look a bit silly.
What should I do with my life? "No Matter What It Takes" Jeremy Camp
Will I ever have children? "Of a Broken Heart" Zwan
What is some good advice for me? "The Bitch Is Back" Elton John
What fabulous advice!!! Watch out everyone!
How will I be remembered? "Disappear" Jars Of Clay
I will not be remembered.
What is my signature dancing song? "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy)" Simon and Garfunkel
A song that I might actually dance to. If you can call what I do "dancing"
What is my current theme song? "Devil's Arcade" Bruce Springsteen
What does everyone else think my current theme song is? "Wreck on the Highway" Bruce Springsteen
yikes!
What type of men do I like? "The Difficult Kind" Sheryl Crow
HAHA!! So true. . .

My Life as a Movie
Apparently this has been around a while, but a friend just sent it to me, so I thought I would try it. If they made a movie about the wonderful life of Sarah, what would be on the soundtrack?
Here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend your cool...THIS CAN BE VERY VERY CREEPY
Opening Credits:
Kenny Chesney – Never Wanted Nothing More
(Not a bad start!)
Waking Up:
Pedro Capo – Esta Noche
(seems a little backwards)
First Day At School:
Bruce Springsteen – None But The Brave
(I’m sure Bruce wasn’t referring to kindergarten when he wrote this song, but I guess it’s good to be brave)
Falling In Love:
Burlap to Cashmere - Divorce
(pretty sure this is NOT a good sign)
Fight Song:
Mick Jagger – Visions of Paradise
(not sure what to say about this one)
Breaking Up:
Hot Chocolate – You Sexy Thing
(can I switch the falling in love and breaking up songs?)
Prom:
The Eagles – Witchy Woman
(I suppose I could be described as “Witchy”)
Life:
Crisantes – Nuevo Mundo
(how did I get two songs in Spanish?)
Mental Breakdown:
Bruce Springsteen – Reno
(good to know my mental breakdown will be in my former town and revolve around a prostitute)
Driving:
Eminem – Sing for the Moment
(hmmm. . .)
Flashback:
Hot Apple Pie – Easy Does It
(About taking it slow after a lost relationship)
Wedding:
Blake Shelton – Goodbye Time
(once again, it seems that all my relationships are a little screwed up)
Birth of Child:
Billy Joel – Matter of Trust
(does anyone really trust me with a baby?)
Final Battle:
Billy Joel – My Life
(a second Billy Joel song, but seems to fit a bit better than the first)
Death Scene:
Bob Dylan – Not Dark Yet
(if I’m dying, it will be dark soon!)
Funeral Song:
Public Enemy – Give it Up
(rap at my funeral. Cool.)
End Credit:
Dierks Bentley – Every Mile a Memory
(a fitting end to my story)
